Our Hot and Cold Stone Massage Course offers massage techniques that go back many thousands of years. This therapy has become one of the most popular therapies over the last ten years.

Stone Therapy has become one of the most requested massage treatments in spas and practices around the world. Stones can be used hot or cold to allow much deeper working of the tissues than in conventional massage – it is said that one stroke of the stone is equivalent to 10 of the hand. Your clients will love the feel and energy of natural healing stones, promoting a meditative, calm state, reconnecting with their roots and feeling energised and at ease with the world.

A one day certified diploma training course using deep tissue techniques which covers the full body and face.

Working in harmony with massage, this hot and cold stone massage technique places the stones on the client’s body and also in the therapist’s hands.

If you are worried about having to have a hot stone heater with you and you are a mobile therapist, this is no longer an issue  as there are portable bag heaters now which do not use water to heat the stones;  the tutor will cover this on the day of your training.

  • This one day accredited diploma course for existing therapists only.
  • This is an insurable course allowing you to use this therapy with the general public and charge for it
  • This advanced massage courses is for therapists with a full body massage qualification only.

Why this Therapy is so popular with clients and in demand –  the heat gently penetrates the skin and muscles, helping the client to relax and de-stress in double quick time.

Essential oils can also be used, and other techniques like lymphatic drainage or reflexology can also benefit from hot stone massage.

This is one of our most popular courses that therapists wish to train in as their clients seem to love it! Protect your hands whilst working, saving you from RSI and your clients get a nice firm massage without any strain to yourself. The use of cold stone massage is also taught on the day of the course. You do not have to bring any equipment with you as this is all provided on the day of the course.
